We played Anachronox for this weeks video. Gotta say, I was quite pleasantly surprised by this one.
It looks rough around the edges, but it's from the early 2000's so I'll forgive it for that, but there's something about it that's oddly endearing. The art style is a little cartoony and the the humour is refreshing. The gameplay seems fairly typical of games for the time; getting lost and confused is just something that happens. It kind of reminds me of the Longest Journey with it's interesting environment design and of course, the aforementioned humour.
If you can get around the bizarre glitches that we bumped into (Might just be just our machine, but you never really know with these older titles) I'd recommend giving it a go if it seems like something you'd be interested in.

I finished this game recently. What a great story, probably one of the best I've ever experienced. Sadly the gameplay doesn't keep up with the story.
